Belgium is a wonderful location to golf especially With a total of 14 golf courses close together in a 15 mile radius. Throughout the country as a whole there are 13 courses that vary in style and difficulty. Belgium golf was influenced greatly by Tom Simpson who designed the first golf courses in Belgium during the early 1900s. Shortly thereafter the pastime of golf became more popular and evenpromoted by the aristocracy, hence many courses have been given royal titles. The weather is delightful and pleasant, however during winter season Belgium does recieve a fair share of rain and some snow so trips and vacations should be planned accordingly. |
